Introduction
Highcliffe On Sea is a village in the Borough of Christchurch in Dorset,
and is located at the most Easterly point in the county. The village
boasts beautiful unspoiled beaches,
unsurpassed clifftop views, nature reserves,
wildlife areas, and much more, including
historic Highcliffe Castle.
The Residents' Association was formed in 1945 to ensure that the unique
character of the village and it's surrounds are maintained, and has
grown to be a powerful voice in local affairs, campaigning ceaselessly
to ensure the lasting character of the area.
In 2007 the Association became a Community Interest Company, which gave
many benefits, not least of which was to allow the Association, both
Executive and membership, to be more effective in campaigning for the
future of Highcliffe.
